My mother’s maternal line comes from Ireland. So, it would only be right that I wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
I am hoping to erase one of my Bucket List items by visiting Ireland one day.
Until next time…peace
Did you or are you celebrating St. Patrick’s Day? I have friends and family members out drinking green beer and Irish whiskey. Me? Well, I celebrated in my own little way. I did where my green Ireland shirt today. When I was in the store, I noticed a group of employees running around trying to pinch each other because none of them were wearing green.
I also splurged earlier with this delicious cake donut, the chocolate frosting, and Shamrock sprinkles were very yummy. And nowhere near on my current healthy eating list.
I am currently listening to Celtic Thunder, one of my favorite groups.
For me, the day was simple but very enjoyable. If you are out and about this evening…I wish you safe travels.
Until next time….peace
I just want to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!
After researching my mother’s family, I learned my great grandparents originated from Ireland. Mostly around the Dublin and Northern Ireland area, I would really like to go there. So, I have made that a top priority on my bucket list.
I love the stories that I learned while researching their roots. There were different folklore past down through the generations that I found absolutely fascinating. The stories have provided me with a basis for the book that I am writing.
I am hoping with a little “luck of the Irish” my endeavor will be a success.
