In Front of the House

Unfortunately, this photo did not have any information or markings on the back. I purchased it as a lot off from eBay.

From the type of photo and the style of dress I am guessing the photo is from the late 1940s.

I am assuming this is a family gathering. There is an older couple in the photo. I am guessing the rest are children and grandchildren.

I can guess this is around Easter. If you look closely at the tricycle. There is a pail hooked to the handlebars. I can almost make out a duck or a goose on the pail.

What do you see when you look at this photo?

Until next timeā€¦peace

Folk’s Anniversary

Unfortunately, this photo did not have a date. From the style of dress, hair cuts, and type of photo, I am guessing around the late 1950s. On the back, there is some information. In very nice penmanship, someone wrote, “Folk’s Anniversary at the Lake”.

The photo is also stamped with , “Brown Photo Co.. Minneapolis, Minn.”

With all the photos, I purchase or have given to me. I wish I had more information.

What do you see?

Until next time…peace

December 14, 1957

This photo is from a batch I purchased off from eBay. I do not have any information on the photo. But on the back, there is a date Dec. 14, 1957 and the words, “90 years old”.

I would love to know their history. I am assuming the men in the photo are her son and grandson. But, like always, that is just my guess.

What do you think?

Until next time…peace
