This is a digitalized photo from a slide. The markers on the slide indicate the photo of the Ambassador Bridge over the Detroit River was taken on 7-26-1957.
From my understanding, the Revere site is in ruins and part of the property recently collapsed into the river.
Does anyone have any information on the site? Or the area? I would love to learn the history.
The photo does not have any identifying marks of the people. But there is a stamp on the back from the processing service, Brown Photo Service, Minneapolis, Minn. Then, under the stamp is the date, November 19, 1942.
Yes, the photo could be straightened. But I did not want to lose the car in the background. Does anyone know the type of car? I am horrible with old car names.
The photo reminded me of my grandfather who hunted a lot. He always seemed to have a cigarette in his mouth too.
I wish I knew about the couple.
