Vintage Photo: Essex Farmer’s Club
I have been working a series of photos that include images from a parade. In this photo, the float is for the Essex Farmer’s Club. I did a quick search but I did not yield any quality results on the club. I know the photo was taken in St. Johns, Michigan. I do not have a year. I am hoping to find out more information as I continue to research.

Today, May 8, 2017, is Iris Day. I love Irises. To me, an Iris is old fashion plant. I have the traditional purple ones in my yard. And, a couple multi-colors ones which I mixed in for color. After searching through my catalog, I want to plant more this year.

Double Rainbow Over the Windwalker
In the midst of rainy days, a vibrant, double rainbow shined brightly against the gloomy sky. I spent a lot of time photographing this rainbow. I could not believe the brightness of the colors.
