Happy World Turtle Day

Happy World Turtle Day, everyone!

I took this photo early in the Spring. The sun was finally out. The turtles were just enjoying their day.

I love watching and photographing turtles. (Of course, I love watching all wildlife).

This photo is from last summer. The water was low and covered with algae. But the turtles were out.

We are currently having a cold, rainy day here in Mid-Michigan. So I guess, I won’t be photographing any turtles today.

Turtle on the Maple River.

Have a great day! Stay safe this holiday weekend!

This is a Blanding’s Turtle, the first time I had ever seen one in the wild.

Until next time…peace

Happy Mother’s Day!

I believe this is a mom and new baby. I think, the baby is a boy. But I am not 100% certain. It’s hard to tell sometimes in older photos.

I have a lot of photos of this family. I believe the timeframe is the 1940s.

What do you think?

Once again…Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms out there.

Until next time…peace

Modeling Her Outfit

The lady is all smiles as she models her outfit. I wonder if she is going to a festival? Or if she is dressed up for a wedding or other special event.

Even though, I do not have any identifying information, I’m placing this image in the 1940s.

What do you think?

Until next time…peace
