Unfortunately, I do not have any information on the couple in the photo. Based on the style of clothing and her hair style, I am placing this image in the mid-to-late 1940s.

I cannot tell if the man is wearing heavy lace-up combat or work boots. But the rugged and used look to the boots reminds me of men returning home from combat.
