I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.
Because if you are making mistakes,
then you are making new things, trying new things,
learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world.
You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something.
Well, Happy 2nd Day of 2017! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!
My days were filled with family, friends and a lot of food. I really couldn’t ask for anything more.
Until next time…peace

I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful,
and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.”
And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.”
― Neil Gaiman
I came across this quote a couple days ago. I don’t think I could have found any better way to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I hope 2016 brings everyone peace and happiness with over amounts of joy.
Right now, I am just under six hours until midnight. I plan to spend the rest of the evening doing what I love…writing. The Michigan weather has brought a very cold New Year’s Eve. I am grateful for the fireplace this evening.
Once again, Happy New Year! Happy 2016!!
May we all find fewer things to stress about and more things to rejoice about in the following year.
Until next time…peace
The photo I am sharing with you is the last sun set in 2014 for mid-Michigan. I want to wish everyone a New Year full of peace, love and happiness.
“Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one.”— Brad Paisley
They claim the way you spend your New Year’s Eve will set the tone on how the upcoming year will be for you. I have spent the day writing and working with photos. I cannot ask for anything more for 2015. I plan to keep writing articles and format by book for publication. Of course, I plan to take photos. I never go anywhere without a camera.

Happy New Year, safe travels and blessed 2015!
