The image is from an estate sale purchase. Unfortunately, there are no identifying marks on the photo.

In my opinion, the couple seems to be celebrating together. They each have gifts and the cake is the middle. So, I am guessing, they are celebrating an anniversary.

From their clothing to the style of photo, I place the image in the 1940s.
