Day 3
Challenge: 7 Days, 7 Black & White Photos, No humans, No explanations
Right now on social media, the 7 days black and white challenge is extremely popular. I finally decided to participate. So this is the first photo from last night. I am not a big still life photography person. I would rather be outdoors. But once in a while, a creative mood hits me to try something different.
Challenge: 7 Days, 7 Black & White Photos, No humans, No explanations
Day 1
For those who are celebrating today, Happy Halloween!
In Michigan, I was able to see the first hints of winter as snowflakes began to form.
For everyone who is out and about tonight, be safe and have fun.
Until next time…peace
I love this photo. Full of smiles, the children seem so happy. I am assuming they are all bundled up to enjoy a cool, crisp day.
Until next day…peace
I have been working a series of photos that include images from a parade. In this photo, the float is for the Essex Farmer’s Club. I did a quick search but I did not yield any quality results on the club. I know the photo was taken in St. Johns, Michigan. I do not have a year. I am hoping to find out more information as I continue to research.
Until next time….peace
I keep slowly working through my box of negatives. Despite my research, I cannot tell what type of plane is in this photo. For me the photo contains little information, I am sure other people with aircraft knowledge can immediately identify the plane. The signs in the background are basic: “scrap container”, “keep this area clear”, etc. So, I could not gather any further clues.
If I were to guess, I would say the gentleman in the photo is an investor, banker, or even the owner of the plane.
Feel free to search my other old transportation photos, just view my website.
Until next time….peace
I came across this photo in a box of negatives from an estate sale. The negatives range from family gatherings to large public events. The owners obviously did a lot of traveling. The photos have a full range of tour destinations.
This photo fascinates me (well all photos fascinate me) but this one looks like it’s a large crowd gathering to see the Pope or someone else high up in the Catholic Church. When I enlarge it you really can see all the details.
When I enlarge it you really can see all the details. I’ll keep researching to see if I can find further information.
Until next time…peace
Living in Michigan, I use to the weather changing. After a couple of days of extremely cold weather, we are now in the midst of a winter snow advisory. I guess Mother Nature is not quite ready to let spring take over completely.
Needless to say, I still find the falling snow beautiful.
Until next time….peace
