Rain is here in mid-Michigan. I cannot complain. Our mild rain showers are nothing in comparison with the destructive path of the hurricanes. My thoughts, positive vibes, prayers, and well-wishes go out to everyone and every animal affected by the hurricanes.
The pause in the rain showers brought a beautiful, bright rainbow. Snapping over 100 photos, I cannot believe the awesome beauty of a rainbow amidst the storm clouds.

I seem to have an abundance of grasshoppers this year. Ranging from bright yellow to a deep green, the little insects jump around as soon as I walk pass. Of course, I do have a lot of weeds right now. So I am certain they are enjoying eating the extra foliage.

Most people consider the common burdock an annoying weed. But I find the flowering buds intriguing.

Viewing the deer from my front porch is alway a wonder.
Wondering around my yard this evening, I realized there are more dragonflies out than normal. I am assuming a new batch must have been hatched. Zooming a top of the flowers and other plants (mostly weeds in my yard), they were everywhere. Watching the little, winged creatures is always a highlight for me.
I could photograph dragonflies all day long. The tiny winged creatures hover and fly around my flowers. Of course, if I use my imagination, I can almost see fairies fluttering along the flowers.

As I work through some of the negatives, I came across this plane picture. Well, I am assuming the structure is a plane. I can imagine, the owners are building the plane in an old bar. Of course, I am just guessing. One of these days, I am hoping someone will recognize a photo and give me a history.
