I definitely can say this is a vintage photo. The little girl in the photo is me with my mom. I put this photo around 1972.
Happy Mother’s Day to the awesome moms out there!
Miss you mom!

I pulled this image from a slide that was dated August 1968. I purchased these slides as an estate lot. The owners must have traveled a lot. I am loving all the photos from different places around the world. If the locations still exist, I am adding them to my bucket list.
There are photos of couples in front of these cabins. Since this photo was taken in August. I wonder if this isn’t a farewell to summer picnic? The people in the other cabin could be coming together for one last summer picnic.

I took this image from a slide which was labeled May 1961. The group are full of smiles. I do not have any further information.
I recently purchased the slide as part of an estate lot on an auction site.
The people in the slides loved to travel. I am so excited to pull the images off them.
The gentlemen in the photo appear to be in hunting apparel which makes me think they are at a cabin.

I pulled this image off a slide which was part of an estate sale. If I researched correctly, I believe this is The Montreal Expo.
The slide does have a date of October 1967.

I don’t have any information about the two men in the photo. However, I did look up the ads for more information.
I researched “Jeeps! I’d rather have a milk-nickel” which is a chocolate ice milk slogan. The ad was in place from 1934 to 1941. The dates match the style of clothing and photo type.
I wonder if the two men were part of the benefit. Or if they were just posing in front of the signs for the photographer.

The image did not have any identifying marks. Based on the clothing and type of image, I am placing the photo around the late 1940s.
I think the ladies are on vacation with a grandson. On the left, there looks like a monument.

The image was part of an estate lot. Unfortunately, the auction seller did not have any information on the photos.
In the photo, this young man is extremely proud of his plane. I am guessing, he built the plane as part of a project, maybe for Scouts. I am putting this photo around the late 40s or early 50s.

This photo was part of an estate sale purchase. My favorite part of the photo is the information on the back. The photo had a location, Benjestown Road, Tennessee, and a date, 1945. I generally do not get any information on the back of a photo.
From the girl’s clothing, I am guessing, this is her first time on a horse.

Over the years, I have worked on many photos, negatives, and films. Some photos I just can’t help but wonder about the back story. Who was this person? Where was this photo taken?
The Man in the Doorway is one of those photos. I am assuming, the photo was taken on a military base. He appears in other photos that would corroborate this guess. But unfortunately, that is all the information I have.

These photos are from an estate lot. I do not know if this was a school project or part of the curriculum. The farm display is definitely a teaching point. There are posters on the black board to go along with the exhibit.
I am assuming the photo is from the early 1950s. However I do not have any information to confirm the date or the location of the photo.
