Yes, I am fully aware that the photo is blurry. But I love the fact that it is dated and the couple is named. Someone wrote on the back of the print, “July 1942,” with the names “Carl & Mayme Schmidt.” I may have her name spelled wrong; the writing is faded.

I cannot tell if the couple is in front of their home or maybe in front of a store. The gentleman could be holding his lunch or a recent purchase.
